I'm sure I've asked this before but I can't find the thread

We've got Apollo in a big rubbermaid with topsoil and spagnum moss, and I'd like to actually put some real plants in with him. Can anyone suggest plants that will be safe should he decide to nibble?

I know hostas are edible, and I believe there are some types of cactus but I can't say what exactly.

I had a couple live hostas in w/my boxies but they uprooted them pretty much every day. I also planted grass in the enclosure a while back and they seemed to enjoy that.

I planted Spring Mix seeds, hosta's, strawberry plants, grape vines, Rose of Shannon, hibiscus, dandelion, geranium, and butter lettuce and pansies.
