Thanks for that link, littlecakes! That's a great resource.

The Blandings turtle is doing remarkably well. I let her soak in a tub for a couple of hours a day and then dry dock her at night. She's eaten a few worms and a cricket and has pooped again, so I think she is going to recover just fine. She also comes out of her shell much more often now than she did during the first few days. I am going to wait a few more days until she appears stronger and takes a few more meals, then I will return her to the wetlands near where she was run over. I'll post some more pics too when I get a chance.

Hey, sorry I haven't been around for a while. Been super busy with construction on the new store. Anyway, the Blandings turtle has made an excellent recovery and is in my 90/40gal L-shaped setup with my adult RES's. I was going to release him but then thought maybe I should wait until the Spring warm-up since I didn't know if he would be strong enough to survive a hibernation cycle through the winter. He seems to be happy with the other guys and loves to bask.

So glad to hear that he has recovered!! That is amazing. Imagine the fate of the turtle if you haven't seen him on the road.

Congrats on the store. Very exciting!

Way to go! You should post a pic of the little guy now that he's better.
