I too made a major score on craigslist. My wife and I wanted to up grade our 55 gal. and 10 gal. so I could put my three turtles together. On craigslist in Spokane, WA a lady was moving and I got a 150 gal with a stand and glass tops and lights for $100.00. I thought I was dreaming. I only wish I had choosen to get the 3 toed box turtle that was in the tank. Keep your eyes open you can find some great deals on there!!!
Congrats on your find!
My wife and I are the proud parents of:
2 little boys (ages 3 and 6)
2 RES (Rose-14yo and Max-6yo)
Lilly (Western painted turtle-13 yo)
Tucker (Sulcata Tortiose-1 yo)
2 Florida Soft Shells (T-Rex and Snake-eyes: 3mo)
Bubba (English Mastiff)

Thought I'd add in my little steal (I think at least) that I just picked up. Watched a listing for a few days then called up and offered. 55 gallon acrylic with stand and canopy, misc fish accessories, eheim 2217 canister filter, eheim 2236 canister filter, spare media for both, heater, etc. Guy was asking 250. I saw it dropped to 100 so I called up offered 85 and picked up my new tank. Now there's a 210 with stand and canopy for $100. Says it will not hold water but may just need resealing.

Yeah Craigslist is GREAT for Pet owners looking for a steal.

I recently picked up a 55 Gal Long Tank with a Custom Metal Stand with a Double Sided Filter, 2 Light Holders with some old bulbs, Air Pump with 2 under gravel air pumps all for 60$...Not bad :D the Tank alone in a store would be like 150$
