It looks like it's an abscess and the other one looks to have an infection. I'd keep them separate and make sure they have a good diet, UVB, basking area and some calcium.
i've upgraded to a much bigger rubber maid for my turtles and they absolutely love it! the little ones have moved into their old home and they seem happier too! yay! i have to improvise considering my parents are still not okay with having a tank in the house. but that's okay because my dad is considering building a large pond for them
they use the middle level as a bed lol!
i've put the wood up there 'cause they're used to sitting on it. so maybe it'll teach them that they have to come up there to bask now.
and here are some of alex he sleeps in my hands :3
Wow your RESs are getting big! are they only about 6mo old? Hope you can get the little ones healthy...also I don't see much of a difference between have a huge rubbermaid or an aquarium in the house can make, but if they get an out door pond that would be awesome. I live in a condominium so thats pretty much impossible for me.
As RES get older they eat more veggies than meat. You should still give pellets and some lettuce. Shrimp and worms should be an occasional treat. I'm sure a more experience person will chime in on this too.
