I think Toku is coming around to realizing I'm not going in the room for him. When I wake up his light is already on and I have woke up on numerous occasions to see Toku basking but as soon as I move he would head for the water. Well, this morning, I woke up but he wasn't basking yet. I took a shower and brushed my fangs, when I walked out of the bathroom he was basking, but instead of sliding into the water he just sat there. I walked right next to his tank and continued to the closet. The whole time he just watched me and kept basking. However, I did not make eye contact. He was basking the whole time, I left for school so I presume he kept basking well after I left the house. I really don't like to disturb his basking sessions, but due to the fact his tank is in my bedroom, on the wall between the door to the bedroom and the door to my bathroom, and he has a view of the whole room. It is impossible to not distrupt him. But I like how he is not panicing and just pays close attention to see my ententions. I think it's a sign that he will calculate a situation before making a decision. Of course I never saw this with the smaller 40 gal tank. I wonder if the 150 gal tank has something to do with this change in attitude?
