Bill is cute, they have fun ways to sleep... maybe the land area is not big enough?

Oh, he's wide awake. I think he's doing some kind of pull-ups. He usually sleeps at the bottom of the tank, though last night I caught him wedged between his basking rock and the side of the tank with his nose in the air, eyes closed.

I've been thinking of adding some ornaments to his tank to entertain him.

They do that, I think they would go up and breathe during sleep! they sleep funny, I have four of them, two big turtles and two small ones, they cuddle to sleep!!! ^^

Yeah? just feed him some live fish? I put a ping pong ball in the water, they would chase after it, but take the ball out, I still think plastic in the water isn't a good idea.

Just like 5-10 minutes. He was moving around most of the time. He likes little nooks and crannies. He didn't have any trouble getting out...

LOL He is so cute! Taro used to sleep in a similar position - maybe they like cozy places. :)

Here he is in his other favorite cozy spot:

And I'm SO excited! He let me take a series of up close basking pics. But then he decided, "No more pictures, please.":

Does anyone know something other than vinegar I can use to clean the hard water stains off the tank? It makes it hard to take good pics.

I just use water and a scrub brush that I just use for turtle-stuff.
