Considering purchasing a stock tank from a local tractor supply store and keeping it in the garage all year long... Only problem is I live in Ohio... my garage is attached but it still does get cold... i would run water heaters and basking spots of course... opinions wanted on this please and thanks...

A number of folks have done this or in basements. Some hibernate (brumate) their RES but that depends on their age and temperature.

thanks, so as far as the health of the turts, they should be ok then right? I realize they may slow down a little bit but as long as I don't lose my 3 yellow belly sliders and 2 Mississippi maps...

They should be OK... would be able to keep the temps in the 70's?
