My Map turtle is covering it self in sand. I hear some people sugggest it might be peggers but I don't think it is that. She has been just digging in ithe sand for ever since I got a new tank . Now she some how covers her self with the sand .

Is the sand at the bottom of the tank or in a basking/dry area? Is the new tank in a different location or same/similar?

She may be feeling insecure? Possibly trying to hide? That's how Softshells use it.
