Hi,
I have a 7" dia female that has been fed zoomed aquatic turtle pellets for probably 8 yrs...Ive had her since she was a baby... I feed her about the amount based on on the size of her head...3 times a week...Monday, Wednesday, and Friday...This summer she has been a lot more active in the 55 gal aquarium, including laying 2 separate clutches of eggs , within the last couple of months..This a first..She usually lays once a year..Within the last, I guess month or so, when I go to touch her, she bites me...I noticed that she was picking debris out of the rock bottom so I assumed she was hungry. Therefore, i would give her another scoop of food and sure enough, she ate it...I'm just concerned that I may be overfeeding her...Thoughts?

It sounds like enough pellets but what else are you feeding her? She should be getting veggies every day.
