We like to say that 1" of shell length should equal to 10 gallons of tank. The open mouth doesn't sound like a symptom of anything. As for the brightness, maybe reposition the light or cover part of the tank.

question.

notice that when my terrapin ate veggies, its poop is very soft and easily torn off, and it make a mess on my filter.

when feed on mainly pellet, its poop is in solid shape..

can i just feed omega one pellet only? without veggies.

i am feeding once per day on omega one pellet btw, and each feed is about 15 pellets, abt size of its head.

You might be feeding too much veggie. But you might want to halve the amount of pellets and the rest use veggies.

Sir, it's me again.

this few days i have been monitoring my slider, every morning when he saw me walking around, keep swimming very fast and when it reaches to the tank surface, it swim very fast and the water keep splashing which i would always hear the noise of water.

after feeding , it remain quiet and went to bask itself.

is the slider asking for food ? that's y he keep swimming and splashing the water?

Sounds like he's just begging for food. RES are good are that, resist in overfeeding.

Its somewhat normal. Scooping it out when you can is the right decision.

Not sure, he might just be a bit bored. As usual, keep an eye on any other unusual symptoms.

60 litres does seem small, if not now, then before too long. The general rule is about 15 L/CM

That is his penis, what he's doing is called "fanning". As long as it goes back in, it's fine.

Yes, from my limited experience they are first learning about it themselves so you will see it a few times but almost never as they get older... unless you catch them mating or in a very stressful situation.
