Habitat - Indoor :: What should i put in my tank and how to feed my turtle?

I have 3 turtle red eyes, 10g tank, dock, filter. I feed them with wardley reptile. They eat a lot... how much food should i feed them? I bought them over 6 years. they are 2.5" legth... (still small) How much water should i put in my 10gallon tank? What else should i put in my tank, and how to make it more beautiful? Thanks for your time!

Your turtles are over 6 years old?? and only 2.5?? I don't think that's normal...?
Anyway, your tank is to small. You need a way way way bigger one! Putting 3 turtles of that size in a 10 gallon is a very bad idea.
You need over a 60 gallon, not considering upgrades.
Other than that you're doing alright. The filter will need to be cleaned every day or it won't work lol. Turts are messy. Also, you want to put as much water as you can!
My dock for Bobbi is a stick on one and it's at the very top of the tank so her tank is over a third of the way full.
I wouldn't worry about making your tank pretty. Turtles enjoy river rocks, they play with them and it adds something.
I tried fake plants at first but my turtles tore them to shreads.

you have 3 turtles in a 10 gallon??

that is your first mistake..... also, i agree with sarah. its definanly NOT normal for them to only be about 2.5" and be 6 years old... red ear sliders grow approx an inch a year... they should be much bigger if they are healthy...

as far as feeding goes, feed them the amount of food that would fit inside their heads if their head was hollow.- every other day

as far as water goes, if you MUST keep them in a 10 gallon --which is a very bad idea--- fill it as far to the top as you can.

i really suggest you get a MUCH bigger tank.
if money is an issue, you could get a rubbermaid container (a large one)
there is absolutely nothing that says it needs to be a glass aquarium.

in regards to steves post, let us know if they are definantly red eared sliders....
