I think I have become a turtle magnet... I found this turtle in my neighbor's yard today.

I thought it was cute!!! I wanted to keep it but my parents both said no at the same time... oh well he is probably better off in the wild.

He is very nice looking boxie and yes, he's better off in the wild where he belongs. Glad you let him go on his way. At least you'll have your collection of pics to look at. ;)

we have a set of box turtles that coem to our house every year to lay eggs. they always go to the corner of our 3 acre, fenced in yard where a little stream runs. they burrow in the soft land and leave. there are always 2 or sometimes 3 that come to lay their eggs each year. we put up a little fence around the eggs so that the dos dont eat them and the deer dont step on them. we watch the eggs hath a few months later and they follow the stream down south. Its always the highlight of our year!
