I configured two ponds, a 105 gallon one and a huge 240 gallon one to separate an agression that could get worse over the years if let alone. The smaller one would be for the male agressor, while the larger one would have the two less agressive turtles living together.
I incorporated a triangular design for both ponds, which cleared enough room for some possible green space. Green space to be shared by both pond areas, and the ponds with their green space would be divided by some sort of wooden fence or thick brush that's managable.
Outer walls to be made of concrete block, about 2.5 feet high, with a combination of plexi and chicken wire for the roof. I could provide a box fan for ventilation on those kinds of days.
I dunno if it's cleared with you guys, but in order to make room for the green space, I had to kind of slide the ponds up against the outer walls, only about 3-4 inches off. Possibly to be covered with some sort of landscaping stones...... my knock-off river rocks from the garden
So, how's it?
