It really doesn't make sense that the person that's willing to invest in a proper set-up and maintain it would have to pay for shipping. It would be insanely cheaper for them to go to their local [insert pet store name here] and buy one themselves than cover the cost of overnight shipping.

Well, if all else fails then you can try to expand your search and hit up some other forums: www.turtleforum.com there are a few people who take in unwanted turtles on that forum. So that maybe your best shot if anything. There is also www.turtlehomes.org

Or you could just give them to a rescue. You might have more success, though, if you provide a bit more info about them. Here's what most people should look for:

size
tank size being kept in
amount of water
exposure to UV lights
diet
health concerns
how long you've had them
where you got them

Maybe even a picture.
