no problem

I know how frustrating it can get trying to find good and inexpensive supplies for our animal friends. so I don't mind helping people skip the going-online/out-to-do-research/comparisions part!

Why do yall think that's so cheap? I bought my 10.0 UVB bulb for $14.99 at Petsmart?

well around the bay area I cant find it for cheaper than $18 @ local pet stores. online, petsmart sell it for ~$15 but that doesn't include shipping. so this is the cheapest I've ever seen these bulbs, mind you!!

If you have a Petsmart near you, you can print off anything from their website and they'll price match. Because originally it's about $18 at Petsmart.
I saved about $50 by doing this. I payed $27 for a filter that was originally $38.99, and paid 20.99 for a heater that was originally about $30!

Exo-Terras are cheap. The Reptisuns are the pricey ones.

Yeah I got Exa-Terra for my UVB, and originally my heat bulb. But now my heat bulb is a T-rex, and I think i like it better, it seems brighter.

why waste money on reptile heat bulbs. Just go get some GE Reveal incandescent bulbs. Very nice natural light, and way cheaper than some "basking bulb" crap.

I would never in life buy a "basking bulb" from a pet store. ITS A COMPLETE RIP OFF! my dads a construction contractor so he has MILLIONS of bulbs laying around. there are many of them that can provide the heat needed for my turts.

Idk, I know it works the same, I'm just paranoid like that trying to make sure I try to get the best stuff I can for him.

Spending more money doesn't necessarily mean you're getting the best product. "Basking Bulbs" are just light bulbs that are made by different companies. I find that light bulbs work better, because you can get a vast range of wattage and you can easily adjust your temperatures.

Ah, I don't care, I'll just get what's, supposed, to be good for them!

well you do know that companies aren't looking out for your turtle, or even your best interest, right? many, but not all, companies are there to make $$, not to look out for you
