i have used www.reptilesupply.com - they have pretty good prices.

the last thing i bought was the Exo terra turtle bank which i am very happy about.

but then i saw www.herpsupplies.com - that was a little cheaper.

www.herpsupplies.com has a more extensive catalog of products.

cheers!

I've ordered from both lllreptile.com and reptilesupply.com, but seem pretty good.

I'm going to order one of their tubs soon. It's not going to be the exact size I want, but, close enough to a 40 gallon (31 inches long, basically)

This might also minimize the "display to everyone I know" factor of the typical transparent tank, but, my turtles will have more privacy, which is something I think they need a lot more. I like that clamp lamps attach to tubs really well, too.

Which tub? Not one of those Waterland tubs, is it?

No, it's one of the Vision CB plastic tubs... I personally don't like the waterland tubs; I don't think they have a very nice depth for turtles. (I would use one for a tortoise or a small map turtle, but not an RES).

Do you know if it is safe to buy animals from them? I am looking to, many years from now, get a kenyan sand boa, the black and white variety. Usually I'm big on buying from a breeder, where I can examine the animal first, but, if they are reputable, then, I wouldn't mind. (I have certain conditions though, like feeding the snake before I get it, so that during the transition into their new home they aren't starving).
