Seriously, don't buy any of your junk from pet stores unless you are in a bind... this website has pretty much everything RES need and it's the cheapest website I have found. Their shipping rates are fair and products arrive very quickly. I have ordered tons of stuff from them and loved it.
Check out the large RES basking ramp. It fits perfectly inside a 30 gallon and works for all larger sizes, of course. My turtle is ALWAYS on the ramp snuggled under his MVB. It is really easy for him to climb up, even if the water levels are low, and he sleeps on the ramp in the water at night. He adores this thing.
