Thanks for info, one happy owner and one happy - well future happy when filter arrives. I will say, I tried what was suggested and Pet mountain can not match Big Al's prices. However Big Als offers free shipping with the filter so its still a great deal at $239.99 total. Yeah!!

Also, at least right now, if you are looking for the 3 pack of fine filter pads for the fx 5 or the pre-filter media 750 grams, Big Als is cheaper on that and pet mountain will beat those prices. Its not nearly the deal on the filter but every little bit helps.

I should clarify. Pet mountain honored their pricing guarantee for all of the products except the filter Specifically in the case of the filter the manager was not authorized to go as low as the competitor. They did offer me the lowest price they were allowed to go and had Big Al's not had the free shipping Pet Mountain would have had the better deal.
