Sometimes my turtles try to be people and walk upright. Jager was somehow sleeping while standing up on his back legs.

Haha. I've posted these pictures before but I'll repost since this thread is specially for sleeping turtles.

I'll get some new ones tonight but these were all taken over the past few months since I got them.
This one is in the old tank a few months ago. I rarely see them sleeping away from each other. Seem to always have to be touching.

Heres one of Snot sleeping on top of the old filter I had in the old tank.

And two more recent ones from the new tank.

I was going to post Frankie doesn't look cute when she sleeps, but she does look pretty cute here:

Here's another: (I didn't know I had so many pics of her "napping")

I rarely see Ralph sleeping (He's usually in a constant state of motion), but in this pic, he is actually sleeping...

Ralph sleeps with his head out of the water, and Frankie usually sleeps totally underwater (unless she's just grabbing a quick nap while basking).

I dunno about you guys, but I love the way turtles look with their eyelids closed! It's so peaceful looking.

Today I introduced my two girls (well, I guess they are ._.) to a new object around the house - a handkerchief.
I placed it on the floor while they were exploring. Lily seems to like it - she crawled in and took a short 10 minute nap. Sunny still hasn't really discovered it yet. Maybe I'll place little treats in there :B
I'll post up a pic when I can get a snap of Lily when she's napping - she's pretty shy about her napping habits. I am working on building her a little corner above water level for her to nap/hide in

Sunny's not really the biggest fan of napping.
