Why don't you put a large piece of driftwood in her tank so she can scratch herself under/against it whenever her shell itches? Turtles do that often in the wild. Mine do too.

She's got one of those as well, but sometimes I think she likes me to exert most of the energy for the scratch fest.

WOW interesting stuff! I did this to my girl and she just jumped hahaha I thought it was funny and wasn't sure if they liked getting scratched, but now that I know... wow too funny.
