Very cute--his head looks so big compared to the size of his shell (love the way they look). :)

Here is a bit more. I couldn't get any shoots showing his eggtooth and his yolk spot :( Although at the 3rd pic, you can see a white spot right below his nose

Tiny turts are so cute, I can hardly remember what Spanky looked like when he was that small - it was sooo long ago!! Enjoy every moment!!

Tempting isn't the word for it! My gf thinks I am mad spending some much money on my RES, and also the time I have started spending on this forum!

BUT even she can't resist a baby turt... over the past week or so she has been pestering me about getting at least another one as we seen them in our local pet shop. (as per usual, they are in tiny tanks and I would like to take them home and look after them better - but I just don't have the space) :(

I saw a hatchling cooter in a tank with a ton of RES at teh petstore.... he almost came home with me

cooter's are beautiful! not saying i don't think RES are.. but if when I bought Willy, had I had the choice, I would have bought a cooter. hands down.

but I still love my RES. :]
