2 week ols Squshie

this is our newest baby, i got him for free when i told the turtle guy in the mall that one of his turts had died. i hope this one will be o.k. so far she loves to be held and i just feel in love. she will just sit in my hand or on my chest and look up at me. she is so cute. :DImage

yes the water is being cleaned today. but here is squshie with voltamort. SQ-1" 2 weeks old & VO- 5 1/2" about9-10 mo.Image

I'd seriously rethink keeping the baby in with the bigger turtle. Also did you quarantine "Squishie" because the other turtle could get sick from the bacteria, etc that the baby is carrying.

The baby is cute, but keeping her with your bigger one can possibly kill/injure her. Set up a seperate tank for her until she and V are similar in size.

i am in the prosess of doing that today. i am too afraid taht she will get hurt. i am checking on her constanly rught now. her new home will be done today.

all i need for her home now is a water heater. will get that tomarrow.
how will i know that she is fee of bacteria and will be safe to the other turts. i know she is too small and might get hurt with the other turts.

I believe the recommended quarentine time is 90 days. After that you can introduce them to other turtles that you already own.

I HOPE EVERYONE CAN SEE THEM CLEARLY. I STILL DO NOTKNOW WHY I SEE THEM BLURRY AFTER PHOTOBUCKET GETS TEHM.
