He is smaller than I thought :) He looks so tiny in that pot. Adorable :)

I hear people had problems with photobucket the last few days but mine works fine

I see the pics just fine. He's so darn tiny. I can't believe mine use to be that small.

Wow that's awesome, he's so small! How hard is it to take care of and eastern boxie? Like do you know of a good care sheet? And I guess another factor would be how much did you have to spend on his setup? I'm kinda intrested in one, but I have to do some research first :-)

At first I thought Dog was a three-toed boxie, guess they all look alike when young

Eastern boxies are very hardy animals and the most popular box turtles kept as pets.
Here is one for ya
Eastern Boxie

And another
Chelonia

Brian, I don't know where you're located but here, just the turtle was $344 after tax.

I picked up the 46 gal rubbermaid tub at walmart for $15, the plant pot at walmart for $2, dishes at walmart too for $1 each. I already had the clamp lamp and uva/uvb bulb but they were $35 & $80 when I bought them.

I should add that I've been researching care and other info on him for almost a year already just to make sure I'd have everything right.

Wow! The turtle itself was $344?!?! That's crazy, and I can get a clamp/lamp for about $50 at the pet store, but that might be it if the turt itself is $344 lol

yes there are very expensive, I saw some sulcata at a pet store near by there were 200 a piece. They also had some boxies but I didn't look to see what kind. The sulcata were so cute they were the size of nickles!

Speaking of sulcatas, Mups left a few days ago to Arizona to my grammas. Got a call that night to say she was doing fine and eating a stalk of lettuce :D

I'll have to tell my son. He fell in love with that little guy when he saw the picture you posted here while back. I was searching the forum for Mups' picture so often for Benji that I finally just saved it to the computer for him to pull up and look at. It was the pic of Mups eating a piece of lettuce. Every now and then he will still ask me if we can get a turtle like Mups. :)
