Is this a RES?

I think it is but just want to make sure. Here is the description of him:

Hi, my name is Bob. I'm a multi-colored turtle and am 6 inches long right now. I'm only 14-years-old, but I am still young for a turtle. I can live to be 30-years-old and grow to be 11 inches long.

Here are some pics of him:

He is at the Animal Shelter now and "IF" I decide to adopt him, I would like to go in knowing that he is a RES..That way I'm 1 step up from them..as they are calling him a Multi-Colored Turtle. The only "multi colored" turtle I can possibly think of is a Painted and he's not one of them.

I can only see one picture.. I'm not sure but I do think I see red ears. Maybe he's a pastel RES?

Doesn't seem as though the pics want to show up for some reason so here is a link to him:

I can see a little bit of red, his head is tucked in. Pastels have more color variations on the carapace (along with wierd patterns) and especially on the head.

Well I'll be running down to the shelter today and adopting Bob the turtle. The humane society said he was indeed a Red Eared Slider and she has no idea why that bit of info wasn't put no the webpage.
Anywho, I'm off to get a new 50 gallon tank this morning and then set it all up for Bob's arrival.
I'll take pics when I get him home.

I can only see the one picture, and neither the front claws or the tail are clearly visible. But what is that red color on the shell? Bob has some red scutes?

Fourteen years old and only six inches--if a female, this is awfully small for being that age. What kind of conditions had Bob been living in?

The red looks like a reflection from a heat bulb?

BTW, forgot to say that I think it's wonderful that you adopted him. :D
