Pickle LOVES "Cookies" (algae wafers)
must...breath...but...can't...put...down...cookie....
maybe I can use the side of the tank to drive the cookie further down my throat...
You can't have my cookie...IT'S MINE!!! (I know the quality on this last pic isn't great, but I just couldn't leave it out! I love how the fish are all around and all she cares about is her "cookie"!)

Hahaha, my turtle Leo does the same thing. She rams into the side of the tank like she's trying to use the momentum to force things into her mouth faster.
Pickle is too cute.

Very cute pics. If that is a floating log with holes in it, be careful that your turtle isn't too big to get stuck. Shirley got stuck and couldn't get out. It's a good thing there was a hole on top for her to breath. It was very difficult to get her out but I managed.

OMG! U mean I have to change Pickles name BACK to Sylar????this turtles gonna have some kind of complex!!! LOL
Seriously though, her tails thick, but its fatter at the top near her body then gets thinner past her cloaca...I still think it looks more like the picture of the girl tail than the boy tail on the sexing page of this site, but I've been wrong before. She is just about 4 inches now, and her nails are still pretty petite. Still, maybe I'll try for some tail shots tomorrow, if she's not too bashful!
