Anyway.. in the first pic, I saw the green thing.. is that sponge? for the basking area? I think better you get rid of it because it will make your filter stuck sooner or later because of that green thing.

hehe I was looking at her climbing and decided to take my camera and voila...you've got to see her butt
yes it is spoge...I know it's troublesome...I tried to find it's replacement but I have no idea...can you suggest me something?? thx

Posted: Wed Mar 18, 2009 12:53 amNovroz - Your basking area looks good and okay. I wasn't thinking to use corrugated plastic as turtles basking area. Its cheap and easy to get right. ... is a good idea anyway and you so creative to use it and cut the stairs as a ramp.. so neat.
Before this I also used dat green sponge thing for my turtle basking area but then its sucks cuz my filter inlet will get stuck with it.
So what I do is for the replacement.. I buy a piece of plexi glass and glue small river rocks on it.. now my turtles can bask completely dry top and bottom bcoz the rocks will not keep the water underneath instead using sponge will keep the water in it and makes the area wet.
