My hubby and I have been trying to do more walking and get out more. We took Ellie to the park on our day off 2 weeks in a row. I have picture I took of out little outings and of some New Jersey wildlife that I thought I'd share!

I think that's a Cormerant? I like birds, but I'm not much good at identifying them...

More turtles! Painteds! It looks like they are somehow sitting on lily pads! I'm sure their is a log under there, but I thought it looked cool.



The sunfish from my other post. I thought he was a cichlid or something. I brought him home with me.... yeah I dunno what's wrong with me....

I love the one with all the painters on the log together. I swear painters can be so mellow.

Those pictures were absolutely beautiful. Great for desktop background. I am right over the bridge....New York...and we have a big pond like that here that empties into the bay. I have to go there soon to collect some duckweed for my pond. Where the pond goes into the bay there is brackish water and there are loads of Diamond Backs there. I hope I can see some and take some pictures. Your pictures are just beautiful.
