Great Pics! Beautiful animals. I can't believe they mixed species of turtles together like that. The snapper could easily eat the musk.

well I can say I believe that mixing species is a must in order to bring these animal to the public. Because the owners would need so many tanks and I think that wouldn't look so amazing seperating every species. I Like it and thanks for viewing. I did think the same as you though kind of but thats all in the animal world if they fight?

That is my issue. I rarely take down notes of what I'm photographing, however I have learned names to a few reptiles so far. And I wish to say that the shot you ask about is a Leaf Tailed Gecko of some kind. Price range was about $70.00

the herp show I go to regularly has a few turtle vendors, and they always have each species in its own tub. Sometimes it's a small plastic bowl like the ones for lizards, other times (for sliders and the like) they're in a ten gallon.

I don't think the damage that could occur from placing a musk turtle and a snapper in a small container with a small amount of water is comparable to nature.

discreet turtle prices

I was expecting to find price labels but because of the American four inch or greater size rule I guess nobody put prices out. I did find the stack of labels but didn't read the prices, so I wouldn't raise any issues over the sale of baby turtles. Baby turtle sales are strictly for educational purposes and not to be sold as pets, I think I read. When the inspector showed up to the expo I expected the baby turtles to be o.k. from confiscation. The medium size albino R.E.S. had no price either.
