I'm using my room mate's sick nikon camera for a project for one of my classes. While I was messing around with it and figuring out the settings and adjustment's and whatnot, I took some pictures of Jager and Stoli.

I love how different their shells are

Just curious, but how much is Stoli fed? In the second pic it looks like the rim of the shell is starting to curl upward...

I love how green they are

They pretend to be tough and fearless, and then i point and they run and hide. It's adorable. XD

He is fed the same amount as Jager. They each get one and a half cut up pellet (the little reptomin baby pellets, not normal sized ones) and a tiny piece of cut up carrot (or lettuce if I have it). When I got them they were in horrible health. Stoli's shell is beyond messed up. It's getting a lot better and he's making great progress, but I don't know if it will ever be as good as it should be. He actually had holes in his shell and all the lines were rotting. Fortunately, that was successfully treated an it is all healing over very well! The holes have filled in and the lines aren't icky. But that weird curve just stays the same. What causes that?

Mello's shell is very close to the color black now.

I think it's interesting how they can get soo dark. I'm excited to watch them grow.
