I can't get over how cute my baby turtles are when the sleep. SO ADORABLE.
And since I love pet pictures, I figured I'd make a sleeping turtle thread!

(I'm working on getting pictures of Stoli and Jager sleeping. Every time I try, they sense the camera is there so they wake up and glare at me. So I don't try to often because I feel bad waking them up.)

Bed time

It is so precious to see them sleep!
Bowser falls asleep while basking sometimes, and I've even gotten a video of it where she was twitching a bit (dreaming?).

So tired after a long day of swimming and knocking things over in the tank!


And her sleepy look when she's trying to keep an eye on you but just wants you to leave so she can go back to sleep!



I can't ever get a photo of Bowser asleep at night, but she always sleeps on the underwater ramp part of her dock.

Lights off: spiky goes to sleep @ 11:30pm and
Lights on: spiky wakes up before that but is on @ 11:30

you guys have some biig turtles! It's so crazy that mine could potentially be that big some day.

the sleeping pictures of spike made me so happy when I scrolled down the page XD

and oh my god she grew so much! It'll be so awesome to be able to like hold my turtles and not be afraid of breaking them and like let them run around on the floor.

@blackforce sgets you - are you sure your turtle is 6months old?
I have spiky for 6months now... and he was as small as a quarter coin when i got him off the lake... looks like ur turtle is older compared to mine...

@allthecandies- THANKS AGAIN FOR THE PICS! i need to take another picture of spiky sleeping now.... =) but he sleep when is dark... i'm trying to keep the 12hr light on/off cycle going....
