55-gallon tank (uvb and heat lamps not visible; it's right above their basking area)

it's really easy to tell who's Stewie is because she's (yep, she's a girl) the darker one.



Stewie is more of an introvert. she does not like people touching her.



and she turns away everytime i hold the camera near her.



Ollie, on the other hand, likes to pose for the camera.



she has the reddest ears ever!



their basking area was big enough to hold the both of them... but now that they're 7-8 inches long, they sometimes race as to who gets to bask on it first!

They're so big! Every time I see pictures of adult sliders, I have a hard time picturing mine that big XD

Those turtles look very happy, and i agree with ATC it is a little hard to believe such tiny turtles could grow to be so big.

honestly when i first got them i never knew they could get this big. i had to upgrade my tank three times before learning they actually could grow as big as a dining plate! =)

i love them
