Hi Everyone,

Im new here, I just rescued a couple of RES's from my friends Sister who didn't take care of them. I have no idea how old they are, and wether or not they are both Female but from all of my research I think they are both Female. Anyway I wanted to post some of the pics ive taken of them. Im building them a new setup piecemeal, I just picked up a Fluval 405 because the first petshop sold me a Whisperi40 that has been complete garbage as a filter. If you think you can identify if their both female please let me know! Images are large, click the thumbnails to expand.

lol well thank you. I was kinda hoping they were both Female. The smaller one (Chell) has exploded in size since I got her a month ago, I guess a proper tank setup can do wonders.

Very nice turtles. GlaDOS has some interesting shell patterns too. Chell looks like she's having some shell issues, you might want to cut down her pellets/protein intake.

GlaDOS has a gorgeous shell!! Looks like you have a couple of ladies . Great pics!

Thanks everyone, ill definitely cut down on the pellets as you suggested Steve. She's really thrived since I got her though, they used to keep them both in small carry tanks, the kind you would use to take one to the vet or travel.

All I have to say is.....win.

They found their prince! You saved them! They must feel like they live in a castle now!
