I thought I would have an area to post Merlin's photos, so if you see me post, then its probably because I have a new photo(s).

A little Bio about Merlin:
Age: 9 months
DOB: Approx Jan 15 2011
Sex: Male (we think)
Breed: Yellow Bellied Slider (Cooter)

Notes:
Merlin may have been bought for my husband but he loves his Mama.
Merlin has shown me the love of a reptile I never knew.
He's smart, friendly and dang cute!
He LOVES tomatoes, carrots, banana and his pellets.
He hates my aunt Bella, bites her every time LOL

So lets start posting the photos.

When we first got Merlin we had him in a little tank with gravel and no UVB bulb.
We fed him only pellets and cuttle bone.

After reading up some more things changed a lot for little Merlin.
First change was the tank, we upgraded to a 33 gallon (36" long).
We got rid of the gravel and bought sand.
His diet as you all know was changed, he gets lots of veggies,
a few insects and a lot less pellets.

Thanks everyone. He's a real ham when the camera comes out.

Happy Camper: I used my micro setting for that shot. I'm a free lance photographer
so I am glad you like the photos. He's been a challenge that's for sure.

No I don't have one for my photos, my co-worker/co-owner to our photography company uploads the photos from our shoots to her computer as she has an external hard drive. (We do boudoir shoots so privacy issues).

I post all my photos on Photobucket or facebook.

That's really awesome! Look forward to see more of your pictures. I just take pictures as a hobby, my dream is to make a profession of it someday.

So here is some new photos from today.
As some of you know, Merlin is going to see the vet because he was/is having eye issues.
So I decided because it is cool out he needed something warm to travel in.

I make and sell small pet bedding as one of the items I make is called a cuddle sack.

Merlin Honey what do you think of the cuddle sack?

Image
"I dunno what a cuddle sack is. It looks kinda scary."

Oh don't worry Merlin its not scary go on in.

Image
"Well if you say so..."

See what did I tell you, isn't it nice?

Image
"Hey this is rather nice and cozy."

Here is a view of his tank as well. Like I said its a 33 gallon but we have an 80 gallon coming.

Merlin is in the far right corner.

I used to use old sweat clothes for my RES, they loved going in there for naps :)

I just noticed your stand... is it too small for your tank?

Not really, its a metal frame one I bought 4 years ago. Its for a 30 gallon and this tank is a 33,
it sticks out about 1/2" to 1" on either side. Since its not the full 33 gallons I didn't worry. Should I?
