A very self-satisfied looking turt. (Does the body live up to the name--can't really tell from the pic, but hope it doesn't). What is your turtle's shell length without the curve? If it's around 4 inches, those nails don't look that long to me, at least from the pic. What's the underside of the tail look like (got a pic)?

Nice pic! I was thinking the same thing about the nails as Marisa. If Fatso is over 4 inches, the nails would be much longer if it was a boy.

I just did a measure on Fatso and the shell length's 3.25 without the curve. Fatso's not that fat anymore, it used to be meaty when it was smaller..hence the name Fatso..=) it went on a strict diet after coming upon this site.
I'll take more pics of it soon, including an underside pic of his tail. The tail's kinda chubby from the shell to the cortia..but i'll post a pic up later for better reference. Thanks again!
