Here's a couple pics of my little buddy. We found him in the breeze way of our apartments several months ago and thought it would be a neat and nice pet to have....not knowing the expenses that would soon incur. I've gotten very attached to him.

I'm sorry, I'm still new to this site and not sure if facebook pics will work on this site. The album is set to public.

He looks pretty good. You might need to make some habitat changes/adjustments soon. Is he eating/basking?

He was eating primarily brine shrimp, because that is all he would eat. I haven't given him any shrimp this week and have just been dropping pellets in and he is only eating a few of them each day. We are going to the store today and getting stuff to make the jello shots and try that with him. He has just started back basking, I apparently didn't have enough water in the tank so his basking area wasn't close enough to the heat source. I filled the tank up higher yesterday and he got back up on his dock and looked out the window while basking.

I have a lot of stuff that I ordered yesterday....new pump, dock, and light setup. So here in the next week or so his tank will be getting a makeover.

Most will hold out for the treats, so it's good that he's eating some of the pellets. You do need to have better support for the tank, a lot of the weight is on the corners. Personally, I've seen a lot of those glass marbles crack and break so I would remove them.
