Veronica is darling! I've been meaning to create a basking area completely constructed out of sea shells and silicon, I just lack the time. Yours look stacked but still a very very nice addition to your aquarium.

Well Veronica was a birthday present and she was brought into my house with a basking light, filter, ten gallon aquarium and medium sized gravel. As soon as she was brought in the party stopped to set up her home. They didn't bring a basking area so I used the huge sea shells that my parents had collected on their shark fishing trips and it worked out great as a basking area before I updated her to her 30 gallon aquarium. The only issue I had with the shells was restacking them the right way have doing a full tank cleaning. When restacking them you had to try to make them sturdy enough and tall enough. But Veronica did enjoy them. The shells were all at different levels in the water so she had different places to rest and sleep on. I still have a couple of the big shells in the floor of my 30 gallon tank but I'm considering rebuilding that little area underwater just because she enjoyed it so much. :)
