Such bright red markings on your RES. Mine aren't as vivid. Probably because I don't take them outside often enough, mainly have just the artificial bulbs. I didn't know DBT lost their pattern on their shell when the get older, or is that a different species/sex.

Pictures 3 & 4 the turtle doesn't seem to have the nice clean lines I normally see with a DBT

I figured thats what it was about. The coloring doesnt normally fade. Im not sure why she is like that, her pattern is really blurred. It isnt normal thats for sure.
