Posted: Thu Sep 06, 2012 1:45 pmShe is beautiful and so shiny. We have had our female RES Shellie for 3 1/2 months. She has a great pond, but loves to stalk around in the garden during the day with our 2 hens who are constantly digging in the dirt. Hence, she has a dirty shell. Would it harm her if we took a tooth brush to it with a little warm water? It doesn't really bother us, but she would be so much more beautiful with a pretty green shell.
