These are my two little RES. My wife named them Thing 1 and Thing 2. They are both the size of a silver dollar.

This is the initial setup. I'll be upgrading it soon.


Here is a shot of them in the basking area together. I thought it was strange because everything I've read says they should be housed alone.

So sweet! Your set-up looks great. How can you tell them apart?

If you look at their shells the yellow stand out a little more on Thing 2. On Thing 1 it's a little darker.

Very cute! The patterns on their plastrons are also unique like fingerprints when they're just hatchlings.

Is this the pattern you're talking about Steve?

Yes, though RES will loose those patterns over time.

I really like that pattern, your tank looks very nice, as well:)
