Kinda awesome to see them dig like that. He's all over his new place

Yeah he searched around for a bit but then dug in and only moved slightly since burying himself. I have read this is normal for them so expect most pics to be of the neck and head lol. I will have to be quick to get a pic when he is eating or foraging for food. They do bask but not as often as sliders and other basking turtles. I saw an awesome pic of an adult male basking with his head fully stretched out and his limbs fully stretched out. It look really cool, I made it my back drop on my IPad.

Hope that's not a female. She'll get huge!
