That is a great pic...a good one for the photo contest. Such pretty eyes. You might want to resize you pic and post again though. It's a bit large for the page.

can anyone comment on it's carapace, appearance, etc, is it healthy etc. there are some discolouring on it's carapace, can anything be done abt it?

This is another RES which resides in the same tank. Age is abt 8-9 months old.

They both look fine, just re-check to make sure they getting a balanced and varied diet.

The turtle in the second picture has a red dot on the inside of each eye and then one a little further back on its head. I don't think I have ever seen anything like that before.

Nice pic. The one turtle has a pleading look in the eyes that says "Feed me."
