Yeah, that's a shower organizer.
The water is 7 1/2 inches deep. (I had to go measure it.)

It's amazing how water plays tricks with the appearance, cause it looks like the water is about 3 inches deep. And, well, I thought I had seen other pictures you posted and the water was deeper, I just couldn't remember.
