Shedding Time

Piggley getting the bubbles...shedding time! Thought I get a few photos in before then after he get his new shell. I threw in a few snails from the plant tank to get his attention but he was only interested in the snails not the camera.

Still very early signs but can tell he will shed better than Mickey did. Scutes I'm watching have nice even thin layers partially translucent , to me that's good. Mickey always looked .... well like a wild turtle shedding . I will be happy with a good complete shed !

I would be too, it's probably the hardest thing for me to accomplish.
