Surfacing, his first day in the pond... we didn't have so many plants, then:
Swimming along... I accidentally had the flash on here:
For contrast, here are some pics from his childhood; they were taken in December, 2000, when I brought him home:
At the hotel, still filthy from the box of dirt they were keeping him in:
He was so dirty, he was totally black at first. I had to scrub him off to find out what kind of turtle he was.
Here he is some days later, swimming in his new, clean tank:
More swimming... that's a powerstrip on the other side of his tank's glass, for reference:
My sweet little guy... he grew so fast!

He's about 7" long now.
