wat kind of filter are you using? It looks kinda green in there. maby an alge magnet will help. also how many liters are in a gallon? or did you mean 30 gallons?

I'm using a zoo meds turtle filter.

The water isn't green, it's the lighting and my cheap camera.

It's a 30 gallon, long tank. Meaning it's longer than it is tall.

looks like a good setup. BTW do that zoo med filter work good at all? I always thought about getting one. How often do you have to change the water?

Thanks!

It's a decent filter, but won't grow with the tank. The one I have is only rated to 30 gallons (designed for turtle mess).

I've been doing a full water change every 2~ish weeks, cleaning with the vaccuum deal every week and using the turkey baster (thanks for that tip! I read it on here!) as needed.
