I have an Ivan as well, but he's a cat and weighs 16lbs. He's solid black as well.

I think its a female because it has short front claws and the tail isnt that long compared to the male pics that I have seen. She is about 4 1/2 inches not including the the curve.Iv had her for about a year now.

Ya, I like the name and it fits her personality well. Some gals just end up with guys names, making that name even cooler. Thats just what I think though.
