Posted: Tue Dec 19, 2006 1:01 pmThanks for your comments. yes, the 2nd picture was taken when we still had 2 turts. also, the sand has since vacated the tank. it has such a cool effect, and mitch loves to burrow in it, but it's just SUCH a hassle. we're enjoying the clean mirror-bottom look nowadays. If I could go back in time I'd get a female Mississippi mud turtle. Their average size is 3.5 inches! Dang store owners said, oh well this 20 gallon "turtle" tank will work forever and ever. hehe
