These are my new turts Zim and GIR!! They are the first babies turtles that I have ever owned. Please tell me if they look nice and healthy.

Very nice! What size is Ivan's 'crib'? Looks like lots of lovely swimming room! Michael's mother just offered me her 55 gallon tank and stand, (for free!!!) and even though I can't set it up in my current apartment, I'm totally taking it and storing it until I can use it. Yay for you, it looks like you have some happy turtles!

I never knew that Ivan was a girl's name, but in this case I guess it is! Ivan is a cutie too!

Thanks, Ivan's tank is also 55 gallons, hopefully you can get yours all setup in the near future.

I almost named my turtles Dib and Gaz! I love Invader Zim! Cute turtles too!

watch that rubbermaid container closely, it looks like the plastic is getting is colored at the bottom, which could mean its starting to bend and may start leaking... I would suggest putting some towels or a plastic tarp or something under it to keep the water from getting to the carpet cause if it starts soaking into the carpet its a real pain to clean up (im currently going through that process now)

i love the turtles, and i love the reference. i actually have jhonen vasquez's email address, you wouldn't believe how i found it. wasn't even looking for it =Þ haha it was in the back of one of his issues of ''i feel sick" those slgers pretty much lack any kind of gap.

but i digress.

how did i miss this before? they really are lovely ~ how big is ivan?
