what's this i'm seeing? john's finally decided to come out of hiding!!!

i actually managed to catch a halfway decent pic of aeryn basking and look, john's out of hiding. he's beginning to make a habit of it

How sweet that he came out of hiding!!! I remember when I first caught Siobhan coming out of hiding and how excited I was too. It's a proud moment! Glad they are doing great!

They are just adorable! Eventually, they will probably both beg. THen you migh long for the hiding days.

heehee, i can't wait for them to get more social with me though.

john got a treat today, for being such a brave turtle. usually when i put the food in the tank he swims down to his hiding place, and peeks out to check if the coast is clear. today he startled a little bit, then just swam back up to get his chow. no hiding. how cute.

lastnight i took him out to explore. usually he finds a hiding spot, but lastnight he crawled out of it and did some exploring. how cute.
