one of my favourite bands, the toadies, got back together some time ago. they are playing a show in my town this thursday. since i couldn't be there, i decided to do my celebration by being creative. i shot a video of my turtles chasing after their rosie reds to the song ''i come from the water." a friend of mine was nice enough to convert it to flash so i could share.

it's organic, no cutting i just hit the play button then the record. the quality's not perfect, but i still like how it came out

That tank looks like it is 6 feet long! I like how your turtles went in the clear glass thing just to get the fish too.

no i live in houston. but i do make trips up to austin about twice a year. usually for concerts.

cool because tahts what i thought when i saw that you said the toadies were playing on thursday you were near austin or houston because they are playing SXSW...well...today..but its sold out

cool, yeah it saddens me that i will not be able to make it. aside from no $ my work schedule won't allow it either even if i do happen to win tix my boyfriend wanted to drive up to dallas to see moe (playing the same day), but that's not happening either. while i welcome the opportunity to get out of houston occasionally, i've seen moe and it's not everyday your favourite band gets back together.

the turtles' measurements are in my signature (taken/updated yesterday) and the tank is a 55 long w/ 50 gallons in it.

oh i didnt see that. i should measure mine, i havent done that yet.
